Products for points

In Ellity, you can create a special category of products that customers purchase with the points they earn. Products can be available for points only or for money. In Shoptet you need to set the price coefficient to 0 and in the Ellity console specify the value in points. If you want to sell the same product for money, create a copy of the product with the setting for selling for points.

In Ellity, it is possible to set the category of products that customers will be able to buy with the points they have collected.



These products can be sold on the e-shop for both money and points, or they can be sold only for points.


For products with points, it is important to set the price coefficient to 0 in your Shoptet admin and then set how many points you can buy the product for in the Ellity console.


If you want to sell a product for both points and money, you need to create a duplicate for that product and set the price coefficient for the duplicate to 0 and set how many points it is sold for in the Ellity console.


Then the product will be displayed in the e-shop in the following way:

Prices with/without VAT on the e-shop

The correct credit calculation settings must correspond to the type of prices on the e-shop (with or without VAT). Inconsistency would lead to incorrect calculation of discounts and points. If the e-shop lists prices with VAT, the loyalty system should also calculate from these values. It is fairer to adjust the ratio of charging and redemption than to artificially reduce the basis for calculating credits.

System visibility

The visibility setting determines whether customers see the Ellity loyalty system on the e-shop. Once installed, the system is hidden by default so that it can be tested and configured first. Activation is done via the Visibility button in the administration. Test mode allows you to view the system only on your device. Even when hidden, the system runs in the background and monitors user actions, but is not visible to customers.
